Fast shooting rate, low compression quality, dual advance shots, 3D imaging, smart auto-focus, decent optical zoom, long battery life, full 1080p HD movie recording, and etc. I love Sony DSC-WX7, cheap (Seriously, SGD$399 or USD$ 331), freebies (16GB SD card, screen protector, extra battery and carrying case with tripod) and powerful. Oh yeah, fast startup time too.

The camera is “just works”. At that time, it works just alright. Simple 7.1MP photos. Till one day it decided to retire without telling me and for years of service (Since 2007, for 5 years), I get up and decided it needs a replacement. One that is good yet budgeted (That’s the point, being cheap! Ok joking aside…) and can resist my brutal treatment of snapping 100 photos in 1 hours. There you go, Sony WX-7.

Well that is my good old phone, except it gave me problems than enjoyment. Well apart from that problems, it also features WDR or wide-dynamic range, which is simillar to HDR on the iPhone 4. Nice phone, but slow in shutter speed. One thing to note it has alot of color noise, that’s a bad point.

The butterspeed camera, it captures very fine and sharp shots and 3.2MP is big in 2008. The real plus is the auto focus and dual LED flash. The downside is it always crash when playing video files, so the Omnia 2 is next in line.
